INVESTIGATION OF COMPRESSOR START-UP OF CONE DRILLING RIG WITH CURRENT LIMITING FUNCTION

The article deals with the problem of investigation system "soft starter- induction motor" for compressing equipment cone drilling machine. Also refined mathematical model system, taking into account behavior compressor load, as well existing working algorithm stator current control block is developed. problems choice starting mode are considered, necessity full research electric drive methods numerical modeling determined. basic parameters which have to be specified and corrected by designer electromechanical during commissioning Further, an firing angle power thyristors, used in modern soft starters, produced WEG Company, implemented. After that, simulation procedure motor using thyristors starter limiting function performed. As a result application Simulink software environment ATLAB, graphs transients most important parameters, such windings current, shaft rotation speed, load torque obtained. analysis obtained results, formulated conclusions on possibility starters drill rig compressors made. It has been determined that case almost linear starts smooth change speed without significant fluctuations currents. proposed use easy modes functions initial kick torque.
